The B2B Cloud Engineer team is looking for a highly motivated DevOps engineer to join our team. About the Role
Help lead initiatives for upgrading and scaling our systems to improve availability, reliability, and performance
Work with stakeholders across the business to balance and accommodate competing objectives
Directly engage with internal & external customers to evolve, understand & improve their resiliency
Mentor and develop junior engineers, growing their knowledge, skill-set and capability
Use the latest industry standard tools and best practices to meet the evolving needs of our internal engineers, developers and external customers
Manage Cloud provider infrastructure, system deployments & product release operations
You will use your knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure to promote proper engineering practice, automation strategy, and other advanced concepts across products
Work on the continuing reduction of human intervention in operations tasks and process automation
Participate in an on-call rotation, using a follow-the-sun model
About You
A strong combination of technical experience, hands-on keyboard capability, technical leadership experience, and ability to learn fast in a fast-paced environment
Significant (7+ years) of design & implementation experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS)
Experience with architecture and operation of container technologies such as Kubernetes, servicemesh
Expertise with Linux system administration, networking and security, ideally in a Cloud environment
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm Expertise with modern CI/CD systems such as ArgoCD, Circle-CI, Github Actions Experience with microservices architectures and debugging/investigation techniques.
Knowledge of cloud monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
Scripting knowledge – proficiency with Python, Go, Java, JS or similar languages
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Skills and Qualifications
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $97,070 to $144,540 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
