About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and cloud infrastructure, with the ability to create and maintain high-quality infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work on a small team at the forefront of shaping transformative solutions, leveraging cloud-native technologies and best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available systems that meet the evolving needs of the music industry.

Your contributions will empower core business processes like campaign performance tracking, rights acquisition and distribution. You will also support the teams building the next-generation capabilities, such as artist-fan connection, machine learning-powered applications, and advanced capabilities like generative AI applications in music.

Here you’ll get to:

    • Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using IaC principles
    • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to create and maintain infrastructure as code products
    • Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost-effective solutions
    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment
    • Implement and manage cloud security and compliance best practices
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends

About you:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience
    • 4+ years of experience implementing cloud solutions, with a focus on AWS, GCP, or Azure
    • Strong software development skills and experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go)
    • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
    • Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tools and practices, using Terraform or Cloudformation
    • Proficiency in version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tooling and practices
    • Understanding of  fundamental networking concepts (e.g. DNS, TCP/IP)  as well as cloud networking principals including VPCs, subnets, security groups
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills to solve
    • You provide feedback to your teammates in compassionate and constructive ways, and seek feedback from others

Preferred qualifications:

    • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
    • Experience with serverless architectures and services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions
    • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., New Relic)
    • Experience with agile development methodologies
