Job Summary

The Azure Cloud Engineer - Service Desk manages incoming tickets for Cloud infrastructure issues/service requests. Will collaborate closely with the TOC (Technical Operations Center) Operations Analyst to manage these requests.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support IT Service Desk Azure Cloud requests/tickets.
  • Open and track tickets, prioritize, follow up on service requests, and escalate as necessary. Create knowledge base articles, checklists, procedures, and end-user training.
  • Troubleshoot issues with Systems, Applications, and Network teams.
  • Identify opportunities and take the initiative to implement technical process/procedure improvements.
  • Provide support to IT & TOC team members in addition to end users, including face to face, email, and phone communication.
  • Assist in IT Asset Management to ensure accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4-6 years' proven experience managing and resolving incoming Azure Cloud tickets/service requestsΒ 
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users
  • Azure virtual desktop administration
  • Azure DevOps, Policy and Purview knowledge
  • Active Directory/Azure Entra ID
  • M365 & Intune Administration
  • Azure Replication, Advanced GPOs, domain-wide maintenance scripting, etc. preferred
