Azure DevOps Engineer (Full-Time, Hybrid – Montreal, Dorval Area)
Location: Hybrid – Montreal, QC (Dorval Area, 2–3 Days/Week Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team as a full-time direct hire. You will be responsible for leading infrastructure management, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud orchestration for a B2C digital product suite. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Azure, Terraform, and DevOps tools, along with a solid understanding of mobile and web development environments.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days/week of mandatory in-office presence in the Dorval area of Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and optimize pipelines for microservices, web, and mobile apps
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and HCL
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for infrastructure, architecture, and deployment procedures
  • Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement vulnerability tracking, apply patches, and support cybersecurity audits
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Work closely with mobile (Swift/Kotlin) and web (Angular/TypeScript) teams to embed DevOps into their workflows
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Agile Participation: Collaborate with teams using Agile practices and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Miro

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related infrastructure engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Azure cloud services
    • Terraform, HCL, infrastructure-as-code
    • CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitrise
  • Proficiency in deploying microservices in .NET environments
  • Familiarity with Firebase, MongoDB, and backend services
  • Understanding of mobile dev (Swift, Kotlin) and web stacks (Angular, TypeScript)
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and patch management
  • Must be based in Canada and legally eligible to work
  • Mandatory hybrid presence (2–3 days/week onsite at Dorval office in Montreal)

Nice-to-Have:

  • DevOps certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmacy)
  • Bilingual in English and French
