Azure DevOps Engineer (Full-Time, Hybrid – Montreal, Dorval Area)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team as a full-time direct hire. You will be responsible for leading infrastructure management, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud orchestration for a B2C digital product suite. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Azure, Terraform, and DevOps tools, along with a solid understanding of mobile and web development environments.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days/week of mandatory in-office presence in the Dorval area of Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and optimize pipelines for microservices, web, and mobile apps
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and HCL
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for infrastructure, architecture, and deployment procedures
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement vulnerability tracking, apply patches, and support cybersecurity audits
- Cross-Platform Integration: Work closely with mobile (Swift/Kotlin) and web (Angular/TypeScript) teams to embed DevOps into their workflows
- Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, performance, and scalability
- Agile Participation: Collaborate with teams using Agile practices and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Miro
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related infrastructure engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure cloud services
- Terraform, HCL, infrastructure-as-code
- CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitrise
- Proficiency in deploying microservices in .NET environments
- Familiarity with Firebase, MongoDB, and backend services
- Understanding of mobile dev (Swift, Kotlin) and web stacks (Angular, TypeScript)
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and patch management
- Must be based in Canada and legally eligible to work
- Mandatory hybrid presence (2–3 days/week onsite at Dorval office in Montreal)
Nice-to-Have:
- DevOps certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmacy)
- Bilingual in English and French
