• We're looking for an system administrator to specialize in tools and test automation using the Jenkins Continuous Integration system.
• You will be part of the Solution Development team, responsible for ensuring the coherence of the modern software on the main development branches, delivering internal software to validation teams in a controlled way and organizing regular releases of fully validated modern software to the application development team.
• You will be a key interface between development, validation and solution engineering team.
• BS or MS an engineering or computer science related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering and integration engineering
• Significant experience in software integration and/or validation area, including tools and automation development.
• Substantial Jenkins administration and implementation experience.
• Substantial experience with IT infrastructures, and Linux system administration a BIG plus.
• Experienced with GIT version control system
• Working Knowledge of CHEF/Ansible
• Proactive and autonomous
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Ability to code and script
• Experience with systems and IT operations
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Strong grasp of automation tools
• Data management skills
• A strong focus on business outcomes
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
• PHP/JAVA Software Development background a plus
All your informatioResponsibilities • Administration of Redhat Linux servers, this includes installation of new packages, frameworks through standard/enterprise RHEL repositories and RHSC repository. • Configuration and administration of Apache HTTPD/Varnish/REDIS/Symfony/Drupal framework on Redhat Linux. • Creation and maintenance of jobs in Jenkins. • Creation and maintenance of CHEF deployment scripts • Working with core infrastructure team on server patches and upgrades. • Jenkins administration including frequent interaction with IT services. • Requirements analysis for different modern teams and test flow design for good integration in Jenkins. • Implementation of wrapper scripts, typically in shell and Python and Ruby • Daily Jenkins results monitoring, associated reporting mechanisms, maintenance and improvements. • Daily support for the modern teams using Jenkins. • Ensuring the coherence and stability of the modern software main development and release branches. • Coordination of software delivery to validation and customer engineering teams. n will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
