Software Engineer
Argo Cyber is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission-critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Argo Cyber is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
This position requires a minimum of a USG Secret Security Clearance!
Responsibilities:
β’ Assists with the technical design for architecture, responsible for overall code quality ensuring a highly available and recoverable environment
β’ Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions
β’ Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with the platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies
β’ Document, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.
Required Skills:
β’ U.S. Citizenship
β’ Active Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
β’ Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
β’ 6+ years of directly relevant experience
β’ Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in infrastructure as Code, CI/CD Pipelines, and cloud orchestration
β’ Enterprise and/or IT Service Management
β’ Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling
β’ Ability to create CI/CD Pipelines that substantially increased effectiveness and efficiency of Agile practice for programs using Agile/DevOps-based metrics visualizations and dashboards.
β’ Ability to design and develop metrics
β’ Minimum 2+ Years of experience with IaC, Pipelines, and/or Orchestration
β’ Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting Desired Skills:
β’ Experience and/or familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps, and Continuous Development / Continuous Integration concepts, and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, NiFi, AWS, JIRA, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter and/or Cucumber
β’ Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques
Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education.
Desired Certifications:
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP)- PMI
β’ Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)- ISACA
β’ ITIL Foundation v4 Certified or willing to complete one year from hire
β’ DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I
