We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our mission-critical applications and services that world-class athletes depend on. You'll combine software and systems engineering expertise to maintain and scale robust services across our multi-product ecosystem, working directly with development and operations teams to enhance service delivery and minimize downtime.

Game Plan - How You'll Drive Impact:

  • Contribute to managing platform services that support multiple products, with opportunities to own specific components as you grow
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, working independently on well-defined tasks with guidance on complex architectural decisions
  • Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes, managing deployments with support from senior team members
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, taking ownership of specific workflow improvements
  • Monitor platform performance using Datadog, creating alerts and dashboards with guidance on complex observability strategies
  • Participate in on-call rotations as part of a supportive team structure, handling incident response and platform troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand their platform needs and contribute to self-service tooling solutions
  • Automate routine operational tasks and contribute to platform tooling improvements
  • Learn and apply platform engineering best practices while helping teams adopt infrastructure standards
  • Support integration of new services into the platform with proper monitoring, working closely with senior engineers on complex integrations

Player Profile - What You Bring to the Team:

  • Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, with the ability to work independently on standard deployments and readiness to tackle advanced patterns
  • Working experience with Kubernetes for container management, comfortable with deployments and troubleshooting, with room to grow into complex orchestration
  • Familiarity with GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and version control, able to build and maintain standard workflows
  • Experience or strong interest in Datadog for monitoring and observability in production environments
  • Strong Linux operating system knowledge and administration skills in cloud environments
  • Understanding of platform engineering concepts or a strong interest in how platform services enable team productivity
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud-native technologies, with an appetite to deepen expertise
  • Comfortable with containerization and deployment strategies
  • Understanding of incident response and on-call responsibilities, ready to handle advanced troubleshooting

  • Experience automating infrastructure and supporting AWS environments in production 
  • Interest in or experience with platform tooling that enables team self-service and ownership
  • Demonstrable experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines 
  • Understanding of database administration and optimization techniques 
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, load balancing, and CDN management 
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows 
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

Compensation Philosophy:

For this role, the salary range is $140,000-160,000 ,with your final offer determined by your experience, skills, and interview performance. Every Teamworks teammate is an owner, with equity aligning your success with ours.
