Job description

We are looking for a smart and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to drive the evolution of our infrastructure. Help build a platform that supports 10+ product teams with cloud based infrastructure, orchestration, tooling, and monitoring. This role requires someone who has a clear vision of what great infrastructure can do and is passionate in helping us move towards it. Bring a DevOps mindset to site reliability by automating the repeatable scaling of systems and processes. 

AccuLynx is a fast-growing SaaS provider of CRM/project management software for roofing contractors. With more than 15 years in the business and impressive year-over-year growth, we have quickly established ourselves as the leading software product in this multi-billion dollar industry. 

What will you do at AccuLynx?

• You will work independently within a smart and passionate team.
• You will build infrastructure to handle large user and data growth. 
• You will help guide platform decisions for future growth and scale. 
• You will use Infrastructure as Code for server lifecycle management. 
• You will learn and innovate.

What problems are we solving?

• Scale out infrastructure to support rapid growth. 
• Remove boring maintenance and system updates by automating them.
• Build a self service platform for our engineering teams. 
• Reviewing what a multi-region architecture looks like. 
• Improve legacy Windows IIS deployments into containers. 
• Automate creation of ephemeral environments for testing new features.

Requirements:

• Smart and gets things done.
• Belief that performance is a feature and zero downtime is the best downtime. 
• At least 5 years experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent IAC technologies.
• Experience with containers and orchestration deployments.
• Experience building cloud based infrastructure. 
• Have a passion for technical process improvement and problem solving. 

Bonus Points:

• Experience with our tech stack - Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL Server, Elastic, Redis, Windows, Ubuntu, .NET
• Experience with our monitoring stack - DataDog, Kibana
• You don't care if the platform is AWS, Azure, or on-prem
• You are available in the rare case when things go bump in the night.
