Senior DevOps Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be operationally responsible for the existing DevOps team and take the team to the next level.

We see ourselves evolving into a DevOps organization to get new software features to market. There is no longer a pure distinction between system infrastructure, development and deployment. Our standard products, as well as our projects, drive us to optimize the end-user experience (ease of use) and time-to-market.

Your tasks as Senior DevOps Engineer

• You manage and optimize DevOps projects and manage the other DevOps engineers operationally. You actively participate in those projects.
• You are responsible for the quality of the solutions and optimize them towards costs.
• You work closely with architects and system engineering on the BESTMIX® products to scale our infrastructure to growing needs.
• You guide and coach development teams in their DevOps-related assignments.
• You implement and validate security best practices throughout the infrastructure.
• You are able to troubleshoot technical problems in an organized and efficient way.
• You work with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Infrastructure As Code (Terraform/BICEP), Azure Stack, Kubernetes, Containers, SQL Databases, Networking, Security, Powershell, YAML. And everything the market throws at us to make life easier

Your profile as Senior DevOps Engineer

• Experience in operationally managing a DevOps team.
• Experience in automating and standardizing processes.
• Experience in setting up stable CI/CD pipelines and maintenance.
• Experience in deploying applications in cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep)
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Powershell) and database systems (SQL)
• Experience with monitoring and scalability of applications
• Experience with security best practices (SOC2, ISO)
• A good knowledge of the English language is required.
