Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Canada.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team, engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on executing a high-impact cloud migration initiative, ensuring rapid and reliable workload transition while optimizing infrastructure efficiency and maintaining strong cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of internal cloud migration by proactively communicating across teams to resolve roadblocks and align on technical dependencies
  • Leverage existing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and automation frameworks, identifying failure points and improving them during migration
  • Debug deployment pipelines and infrastructure tools, using C# and PowerShell to resolve issues and improve reliability
  • Take ownership of systems and processes, identifying weaknesses and enhancing them with an β€œown it, make it better” mindset
  • Use telemetry and metrics to make data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Define and track success metrics for environment parity and migration speed to ensure measurable outcomes

Requirements:

  • Senior-level engineering experience with a strong track record of deploying and managing services in cloud environments, particularly Azure
  • Deep expertise in cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and environment migration with a focus on speed and efficiency
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code, including refactoring and improving existing configurations
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and debugging skills for automation and configuration management
  • Working knowledge of C# for debugging and enhancing infrastructure tooling
  • Proven ability to use telemetry and metrics to support data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical challenges across teams
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently within existing systems and drive results
