Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters to handle production workloads, ensuring optimal scalability, performance, and security. Experience with Helm and ArgoCD in production environments is essential.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless, automated deployments using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to ensure the health, reliability, and performance of applications and systems.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, and ElastiCache.
- Apply best practices for security and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, safeguarding sensitive data and infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in staging and production environments, improving overall system stability.
- Lead efforts in incident troubleshooting, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or a similar position.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, with proven experience managing clusters in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Solid experience with containerization technologies, including Docker.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, and Load Balancers.
Desirable Skills:
- Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or AWS (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Familiarity with other cloud services and tools such as Azure or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability frameworks.
