About the role

  • The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for owning and overseeing Kuvare’s Cloud Infrastructure Strategy for creating reliable, scalable and efficient infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The Azure Cloud Engineer is a liaison with software architects, security, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with strategic company goals and ensure smooth cloud adoption. They also provide mentoring and skill development guidance to cloud engineers to continue the upward evolution of the team.

What you'll do

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in a Senior role with cloud platform ownership responsibility.
  • Proven expertise in managing and supporting a substantial Azure footprint (multiple tenants and subscriptions)
  • Strong networking skills in connecting and integrating Azure cloud infrastructure with on-premise datacenters.
  • Microsoft Azure is preferred, but a strong enough candidate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience may be trusted to transition their skills from AWS to Azure.
  • Experience creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates in Bicep, ARM, and/or Terraform.
  • Experience creating Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Azure DevOps, or else GitHub Actions, to automate the deployment of code to the cloud.
  • Experience implementing monitoring & alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics and /or have experience with similar tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or ELK.
  • Must have experience managing security features such as Entra, RBAC, PIM & PAM, NSG, and Azure Firewall.
  • Experience implementing Containers such as Kubernetes is a plus.
