DescriptionAs a Platform Engineer Intern, you will get to work on a high-caliber team to deliver real-world, modern products that help patients with access, navigation, service, payments, and overall clinical outcomes. The Systems Engineering Intern responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
- Building mobile-first web applications and native mobile applications
- Understanding cloud infrastructure and what components are in the toolbox and how to make them all work together in a unified product
- Working with senior engineers to manage a work queue
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings with senior engineers
- Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
- Candidates that want to be hands on in programming in Python (or any other language) and interest in DevOps are also welcome
Qualifications
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
- Must be committed to work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or closely related discipline
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Must have strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Demonstrated competency with the following: Python(preferred) or Javascript SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo, Dynamo/DataStore)
- Knowledgeable about web and security technologies - Experience with Cloud Infrastructure AWS or Google Cloud, Linux systems, Docker SCM & CI process Experience with Github/GIT Source Control and Branching
