As a Platform Engineer, you will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of applications. Your role will include automating deployment and scaling processes, enhancing application reliability, and contributing to the development of cloud-native architectures.

Key responsibilities:

• Improve reliability and scalability of our applications in cloud and on-premises.
• Create and maintain scripts and tools to automate routine tasks, deployments, and system management to increase efficiency and reduce the potential for errors and manual interventions.
• Implement security best practices and ensure that all systems are secure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.
• Staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in Software Engineering, Kubernetes and cloud-native development.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with any of the cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git).
