MDR Platform Engineer (Remote) - Italy

The MDR Platform Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the platform used by the MDR delivery team to response to threats facing our customers. This position serves as a technical operations expert on the team, building custom tools to empower analysts and extend the features of our SIEM and SOAR implementation to meet our evolving needs as a growing Managed Services business. 

Location: Italy - Remote

Compensation: 51,000 Euro

What You Will Do:

• Drive the Managed Security Services platform development lifecycle.
• Design, architect, and improve MDR platform integrations.
• Design, write, test, and implement new SIEM rules and SOAR playbooks for MDR.
• Design and build components for internal Python libraries.
• Work with the ThreatDown Engineering team to resolve service issues.
• Maintain documentation for scripts, integrations, and workflows.
• Partner with MDR Product Management to gather requirements for the platform.

Skills You'll Need to Have:

• 2+ years of experience implementing security platforms.
• 2+ years of developing desktop or web applications.
• Experience working with platform SDKs.
• Experience working with AI implementations.
• Proficiency with Python.
• No bachelor’s degree required.
