About the role

The Junior DevOps Engineer supports a hybrid infrastructure spanning on‑premises environments and leading cloud platforms. You will manage Linux servers, assist with provisioning and maintaining cloud and on‑prem resources, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and implement monitoring and alerting across systems and applications. You will also help build new on‑prem infrastructure using an IaC‑first approach. The ideal candidate has foundational Linux and networking skills, can script to reduce manual work, and collaborates effectively in agile teams. Familiarity with data centers or cryptocurrency mining operations is a plus. Occasional travel and light physical activity may be required.

  • Implement and manage monitoring/alerting using logging and metrics tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK) and respond to alerts.
  • Build and maintain on‑premises infrastructure using an infrastructure‑as‑code first approach.

  • Familiarity with IaC or configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) preferred.

Work Environment

  • Prolonged periods of desk/computer work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to travel to job sites and move through facilities to gather necessary data.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and pull as required.
