Junior DevOps Engineer

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our software engineering and QA teams to ensure seamless product delivery and operations. You support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, monitor system health, and build scalable and reliable systems. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in cloud computing, automation, Kubernetes, and infrastructure management in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines

• Support the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code

• Maintain and operate our Kubernetes clusters

• Maintain our monitoring and alerting system using Prometheus/Grafana

• Work closely with development teams to debug and enhance services stability and performance

• Support the security and compliance of the infrastructure

• Write and maintain documentation related to DevOps / Infrastructure

• Automate operational tasks as much as possible

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills and a team player

• English language proficiency

• Passionate about software development, automation, Linux, and security

• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies

• High learning agility

• Knowledge of Linux

• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices

• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, etc.) for automating routine tasks

• Experience with Git

Bonus skills - having these skills would make you stand out: 

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure

• Some understanding of CI / CD tools (e.g. Github Action, CircleCI, GitLab CI)

• Hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes / GitOps

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform and Ansible)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
