IT Platform/Cloud Engineer

We are currently looking for IT Platform/Cloud Engineer

Requirements:
 

•  Platform engineering: Design, deploy, and manage robust infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS and Nutanix, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
● Automation & scripting: Develop and implement REST APIs, automation workflows and
configuration management scripts to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
● Infrastructure optimization: Modernize legacy systems for optimal cloud performance,
maximizing resource efficiency and ensuring cost-effective operations.
● Collaboration: Work closely with other agile cross-functional teams, including our IT service
delivery organization, data analytics and integration teams, to build and maintain a cohesive and secure IT ecosystem.
● Documentation & best practices: Document configurations, standards, and best practices to
maintain consistency and compliance across the infrastructure.

At least 3 years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist or DevOps engineer with significant experience with scripting and/or programming languages for the automation of IT infrastructure (e.g Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Rundeck)
● A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation)
● Knowledge and experience with (hybrid) cloud services (e.g. AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda and Nutanix)
● Experience with containerization technologies is a big plus (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
● Familiar with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines
● Experience with Linux system administration is a big plus
● A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing forward-thinking solutions
English and Portuguese required (min C1)

Location: Hybrid - 3 times per week in the Coimbra, Lisbon, Porto or Castelo Branco offices
