About this Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, service-oriented IT & DevOps Specialist to support both our internal IT operations and cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role combines desktop support and employee onboarding responsibilities with AWS DevOps tasks such as managing CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud deployments, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure. You’ll also manage our Microsoft 365 tenant and core security tools, ensuring a secure, efficient environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Support & Internal IT
• Provide front-line technical support via a ticketing system for internal users (hardware, software, connectivity)
• Provision, configure, troubleshoot, and manage laptops and desktops (Windows/macOS)
• Own the onboarding/offboarding process including accounts, access, and equipment setup
• Maintain hardware inventory and software licensing
• Administer user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
• Manage and optimize our AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost • Assist with incident response and postmortem/root cause analysis for incidents
Security & Compliance
• Administer security tools (EDR, MDM, password managers, MFA, etc.)
• Ensure endpoint compliance and security baseline enforcement
• Support access controls and least-privilege policies across cloud and internal systems
• Assist with security audits, policy enforcement, and patching
• Maintain Security Score Card score of 95 or greater
Qualifications
• 3 to 6 years of combined experience in IT support and DevOps/infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of AWS services • Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools • Proficiency with Windows and macOS troubleshooting
• Experience managing security and compliance tools (e.g. Crowdstrike, Rapid7, VeraCode, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Top Candidates will posses the following skills:
o Scripting and automation (Powershell, Bash, Python)
o AWS Certification
o Experience with version control (Git and GitFlow), containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), or IAC tools
o Familiarity with PCI and SoC2
o Experience supporting distributed or remote-first teams
