This is a confidential search for a Mid–Senior level DevOps / AWS / Python Engineer supporting highly secure, mission-critical systems. The role is fully onsite and requires an active Top Secret clearance, with eligibility to obtain SCI post-hire.
Youll join a technically mature environment where automation, infrastructure reliability, and secure delivery pipelines are not nice to haves—theyre essential to national-level outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of automation, cloud infrastructure, and secure software delivery. Youll help modernize and sustain complex systems by replacing manual processes with resilient, scalable DevSecOps solutions across Windows and Linux environments.

Automate legacy and manual operational processes using Python and/or PowerShell
Build, maintain, and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Support DevSecOps microservices deployments in Windows & Linux environments
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Docker containers
Work with Kubernetes infrastructure (OpenShift or EKS preferred)
Support developer deployments and testing activities
Review code repositories and translate engineering decisions into clear documentation
Conduct remediation based on security scan findings
Provide technical guidance across capabilities and microservices
Maintain DevOps and operational documentation
Python scripting, ideally paired with AWS automation (Boto3)
GitLab CI/CD usage and best practices
Strong working knowledge of AWS services and cloud architectures
DevSecOps workflows in secure, multi-tenant environments
Active Top Secret Security Clearance (SCI eligibility required post-hire)
CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent (DoD 8570 IAT Level II)
2–3+ years of experience with:
Kubernetes infrastructure (OpenShift or EKS preferred)
Docker containers
GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell
Experience administering Windows and Linux systems
Experience with AWS services such as:
CloudFormation, S3, ECS
Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, autoscaling
Strong understanding of DevSecOps methodologies
Experience supporting development testing and deployments
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
(or equivalent experience)
AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
Linux certifications
Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS
Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, RocketChat
