As a DevOps engineer, you're eager to develop, manage, and secure an enterprise development platform that meets your client's needs and uses cloud capabilities. As a Senior Platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you'll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve our enterprise environment with current DevSecOps software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevSecOps platform experience, you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
You'll recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt DevSecOps practices. Additionally, you'll continue to strengthen your DevSecOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

You Have:
5+ years of experience working with cloud-based systems using AWS and the demonstrated ability to deploy, manage, and optimize these environments
3+ years of experience developing and architecting cloud-based service provider systems or system-of-systems architecture
3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes
3+ years of experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) or end-state management technologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Experience in scripting and automation languages, such as Python or Bash, for creating custom automation scripts and tooling
Experience leading teams and translating engineering requirements
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud (GCP)
Experience with AWS cloud
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including the development of software build pipelines using standard CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI
Top Secret clearance
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or other DevOps-related certifications
AWS Associate or Professional level certificates
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
