Position Description:
Manages the deployment and configuration of software applications within public cloud environments -- Amazon Web Services (AWS) Azure and Google. Directs technical teams responsible for developing software applications in an Agile/Scrum environment. Manages the development of secure and scalable software solutions for customers. Monitors the design, development, and modification of complex and major software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Accelerates the delivery of value to customers by providing platforms, frameworks, and security capabilities. Draws on in-depth knowledge of the business or function to provide business unit-wide solutions by developing complex, multi-faceted software applications. Researches and recommends new technologies in support of the strategic direction of the business unit and participates in the research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods, tools, and technologies to achieve business-unit-wide solutions.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Cloud Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing container and Cloud-based platform products and infrastructure solutions in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Cloud Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing container and Cloud-based platform products and infrastructure solutions in a financial services environment.
