DevSecOps Engineer

OBXtek is currently staffing for DevSecOps Engineer

• Oversee the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of the working product

• Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

• Develop, test, and deploy secure code and scripts using common programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, etc.

• Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts using tools such as Splunk, ELK, etc.

• Collaborate with developers, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and standards

• Working with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline

• Ensure tools are compliant with security requirements

• Streamline the ATO process from a tools and technical process perspective

• Automate testing where possible and optimizing code coverage

• Ensure CI/CD processes align with operational requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Must have hands-on experience working with tools and technologies in, at a minimum, two of the following areas: software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, open-source technologies.
• At least 8 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and RHEL 8 operating systems and commands.
• Experience with any of the following:
  • NVIDIA
  • Docker
  • C/C++
  • Python
  • Java
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Experience with security tools and frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, SANS, etc.
• NSANet Access desired but not required
