DevSecOps Architect
Remote, Full-time

Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Information Technology field, with a focus on development projects, DevSecOps, and technical architecture. At least three (3) of those years must be dedicated to the architecture and design of enterprise applications in cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or another STEM-related field. Alternatively, an additional two (2) years of experience in the IT field, specifically in development projects, DevSecOps, and technical architecture, may be considered in place of a degree, bringing the total required experience to twelve (12) years.
Must have expertise in deploying large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data applications and designing solution architectures for complex, heterogeneous environments in AWS.
Managing/Supporting Cloud Infrastructure, Containerized Application Cluster Design Approach, including Upgrades and Migration of applications within Cloud environments
Supporting teams to address gaps, improve CI/CD pipeline process and work towards Infrastructure As Code (IaC), standards defined by VIS ITPM’s
Implementing and maintaining a comprehensive monitoring system using Splunk, AWS, and New Relic to reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).
Collaborating, driving SRE principles of Reliability, Automation and Self-healing, Monitoring and Continuous improvements into Operations Support model
Architecture Role-
Oversee all aspects of the projects, leading and mentor teams in providing technical guidance, planning, and support to in addressing critical issues
Strong exp. in lead Architectural roles in Cloud Platforms
Create, manage and reviewing project plans and deadlines, making sure all teams are meeting defined deadlines and in time, ex. Leading program critical deliverables JAVA upgrade, Spring boot
