About the role

In this role, you will use your DevOps expertise and vision to ensure the solutions we build are delivered continuously, securely, and effectively. In the Entice tribe, you will be building a platform of services that will be enable us to reach our goal of delivering premium digital sales services to our customers. We’ll need you to help build a platform that is maintainable, expandable, and usable not only by us, the original developers, but many others to come.

You will be part of a team developing the Cheese platform where you will design, implement, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. You will also develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Bicep and we expect you to enforce best practices for DevOps and cloud infrastructure in our Tribe. Your vision of how DevOps should be implemented will be guiding our other development teams as well.

About the team

The squad, called GOATs, is responsible for the core platform for digital sales. They are responsible for general development guidelines in the tribe as well as providing shared components and libraries. The squad consists of senior developers, a UI/UX designer, and an insurance product expert. The GOATs are a part of our Entice tribe, with about 50 people in total across the Nordics and Baltics.

As a DevOps engineer you will work closely with Tribe technical leadership, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand upcoming development needs and collaborate with other technical stakeholders in our organization to align on ways of working and best practices within the Tribe and the value streams.

You are passionate about best practices for DevOps to ensure our services run efficiently and integrate seamlessly with other applications. You don’t shy away from contributing to software development and operations initiatives in our deliveries. You take responsibility for your work and don't cut corners: "the only way to go fast, is to go well". Above all, you understand that we create software to solve real problems and to help people.

You also have:

  • Several years of experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

  • Experience in using Bicep for infrastructure as code

  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written (with Nordic language knowledge an ad-vantage)
