Marionete is seeking a seasoned professional to join our consultancy team with strong experience as a DevOps Engineer.

At Marionete, we work in an agile environment that focuses on innovation; alongside our international team, you'll have the opportunity to work on large innovative enterprise projects with some of the leading names in the world of financial services.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with Marionete and client teams. You will interact daily with developers, architects, and engineers along with other IT teams to oversee the quality of work and aid projects to reach key milestones, you will combine all your understanding of both Cloud Native engineering, coding and DevOps to projects benefit.

• Assist in the design and development of secure and scalable automated solutions;
• Provide hands-on technical engineering capability to support the implementation of Cloud Native solutions;
• Work towards implementing new and innovative patterns for technology, encompassing real-time, event-driven microservices, data mesh and service mesh solutions;
• Approach the challenge with a problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit to identify technical debt/problems and potential improvements, manage expectations, and deliver the outcomes our technical leadership team sought.

• Passionate DevOps Engineer who has experience in delivering robust technical solutions, participating as an engineer within innovation projects aligned to Cloud Native DevOps principles within the financial service market;
• Significant hands-on experience in designing and delivering complicated solutions but also have the maturity to provide high and low-level design guidance;
• Strong evidence of deploying and engineering Cloud Native (CNCF) solutions.

• Experienced in technical solutions architecture design and delivery;
• Experience with Java, TDD, Code review, IaC, Kubernetes, Containers, Docker, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Unix;
• Strong understanding of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred but AWS or GCP also welcome), migrations on-prem to Cloud and Cloud native principles;
• Expertise in data development and automation;
• Experience in leading teams.
