We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. In this role, you will work closely with engineers to streamline, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhancing software quality and delivery efficiency. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and improve our infrastructure, deployment processes, and automation strategies, making a direct impact on our product development.

You will

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and maintain the existing build infrastructure
• Write scripts and automation tools to streamline manual processes and repetitive tasks
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within both release management and DevOps practices
• Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of software development process and deployment
• Develop and maintain comprehensive release plans, considering dependencies, timelines, and resource allocation
• Support different development teams with their day-to-day DevOps tasks
• Collaborate across teams to coordinate and execute release plans, optimize release processes
• Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
• Implement and manage security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

About you

• Working experience with Python, Shell or other scripting languages 
• Experience with CI systems (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins with Groovy, Github Actions) 
• Familiar with Containerization Platform: Docker 
• Experience building cross-platform and multi-architecture software 
• Experience with large-scale software development 
• Familiarity with Ansible or Terraform is a plus
• Experience with Java & Maven is a plus
• Deep understanding of the value of version control, review, and processes 
• Very good interpersonal communication skills 
• Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)
