Job Description

As a DevOps Architect, you will be at the heart of shaping our DevOps strategy, working closely with infrastructure automation engineers, CI/CD pipeline specialists, platform reliability engineers, and developer experience teams. Your leadership will ensure that the tools and solutions we implement foster autonomous workflows, and empower developers to build, test, and deploy at scale. You will also be responsible for architecting solutions that provide the right balance between innovation, security, and reliability—allowing our teams to move faster while maintaining stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead the DevOps strategy and execution, ensuring that all solutions improve rather than hinder developer workflows. Provide guidance and support across a range of technical domains, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform reliability.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Collaborate with Infrastructure Automation Engineers to design and implement robust IaC solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Create intuitive, self-service capabilities that abstract complexity and improve the experience for developers and operations teams alike.

• CI/CD Pipeline Design: Oversee the creation of agile, scalable, and high-performance CI/CD workflows in collaboration with our CI/CD Pipeline Engineers. Use tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD to ensure smooth, automated delivery pipelines that provide immediate feedback, clear visibility, and contextual information—empowering developers to work autonomously.

• Platform Reliability & Developer Experience: Partner with Platform Reliability Engineers and Developer Experience Specialists to ensure observability tools, performance optimization, and automated recovery mechanisms are seamlessly integrated into the platform. Focus on minimizing friction in the developer workflow while maintaining system resilience.

• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business needs. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation across the organization.

• Scalability & Security: Design and implement solutions that are not only scalable and high-performing but also adhere to the highest standards of security. Ensure that your DevOps practices incorporate security at every step of the development lifecycle.

• Continuous Improvement: Actively drive the evolution of our DevOps processes and tools. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that we are always leveraging the best solutions for our teams and business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Strong background in Microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with security protocols, monitoring, and incident response for cloud infrastructure.
• Proven leadership skills in driving organizational DevOps transformation and process improvements.
