JOB SUMMARY: The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for the operational ownership, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of Radiology Imaging Associates’ (RIA) Azure-hosted data lakehouse and analytics stack (including Azure Databricks and downstream reporting/BI tools). This role owns ongoing lakehouse upkeep—environment administration, pipeline operations, monitoring, and new data ingestion—while also partnering across IT to deliver broader Azure cloud initiatives beyond the lakehouse (platform governance, automation, security improvements, and new cloud services). The role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the platform remains stable, cost-effective, compliant (HIPAA), and scalable.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Â Platform operations, reliability & cloud delivery: Own day-to-day operations of the Azure Lakehouse/Databricks platform and contribute to broader Azure cloud initiatives; monitor health, performance, security posture, and cost; manage incidents and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams.Â
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure-as-Code exposure (Terraform/Bicep) are a plus.Â

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess and maintain a valid Florida class E driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
