The Role<\/b>
<\/div>
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will work in a collaborative environment where you will play a key role in configuring, maintaining, supporting, upgrading, and patching software components and cloud services. You will also research and do proof\-of\-concepts on new technologies to improve our ability to support RedMane’s clients. This support will include both on\-premise and cloud environments. We are seeking to engage your inquisitive nature and inclination to learn.

Preferred Technical Skills
<\/div>
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and\/or AWS and their services, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS architectures as well as a familiarity with DevOps.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledge of IT Operations best practices in a 24\/7\/365 always on service model.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience designing, configuring, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and\/or AWS.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledge of network architectures including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, and others.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledge of networking and internet security architectures and protocols relevant to cloud environments.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

    Responsibilities include:
    <\/div>
    • Constantly improving skills set and sharing new knowledge with others on the team.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Participate in the daily team stand\-ups.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Install, support and upgrade software components.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • New product research and completing proof\-of\-concepts on how it can improve our ability to support RedMane clients.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Support Continuous Integration \/ Continuous Delivery tool sets such as Azure DevOps and GITHub.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Complete level 2 and level 3 support tickets.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Analyze issues and determine root cause along with completing solutions to resolve.<\/span>

      Qualifications
      <\/div>
      • Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or related field preferred<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Must have an interest in and willingness to learn diverse technologies<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Understanding of computer virtualization, networking fundamentals, scripting and automation.<\/span>
