Description

Our partner is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing IT Infrastructure team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with software engineers, solution architects, and data engineers to develop scalable, efficient, and secure cloud solutions.

The company follows a hybrid work model, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility. Team members are encouraged to coordinate with their supervisors to determine the most effective working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, implement, and secure Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Utilize CI/CD processes to enhance solution delivery efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Deploy solutions through all phases, including needs analysis, cost/benefit evaluation, selection, implementation, and support.
  • Research emerging cloud technologies to improve cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Cloud, IaaS, and PaaS infrastructure.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations for critical incidents.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure resources, including:
    • App Services, Front Door, Key Vault, Logic Apps
    • Network Security Groups (NSG), Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks
    • Azure SQL, Storage Accounts
  • Passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning.
  • Ability to travel on rare occasions.

Preferred (not required) experience:

  • Deploying Microsoft Azure AI technologies in production.
  • Designing and supporting enterprise networks (subnetting, routing, security).
  • Microsoft Azure or HashiCorp certification.
  • Coding/scripting in PowerShell and/or Python.
