WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a qualified and Mid-Level AWS DevOps Engineer with a proven history of creative thinking and outstanding proficiency in AWS to join our dynamic team.Β
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities as a Mid-Level AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based technology solutions on the AWS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective DevOps strategies and processes, focusing on both mobile and web-based applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring high availability and reliability of AWS services.
- Managing infrastructure components such as S3, ECS, EKS, IAM, Route 53, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
- Monitoring and optimizing production servers using AWS CloudWatch.
- Deploying and managing virtual machines, containers, and serverless functions.
- Configuring and maintaining networking resources, security groups, and load balancers.
- Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Integrating source code repositories with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Setting up and managing monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch and New Relic.
- Troubleshooting and resolving deployment and application performance issues.
- Documenting system architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for streamlined operations and project execution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS Certification.
- Proven experience in working with AWS services, including S3, ECS, EKS, IAM, Route 53, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Git for version control.
- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Nginx as a web server.
- Experience in monitoring and logging systems, preferably using AWS CloudWatch and New Relic.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding documentation and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in the SaaS, inside sales, restaurant, hospitality, and food service industry.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations is always a plus but not necessary.
- Start-up experience (we love entrepreneurs!).
- Experience in working virtually and with a virtual team.
