Description:
We are seeking a mid-level AWS & Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions. This role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust cloud environments on both AWS and Azure platforms.
The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing operational efficiency with security best practices, including compliance with federal standards such as FedRAMP. While experience in federal security standards is preferred, it is not . The role also involves optimizing cloud performance, managing containerized applications, and enhancing cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud environments on AWS and Azure.

Use Terraform to define, provision, and manage infrastructure as code.
CI/CD Pipelines:
-
Design and implement CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

Automate infrastructure deployment and application delivery.
Containerization and Orchestration:

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, or similar tools.

Optimize container orchestration for performance and scalability.
Security and Compliance:

Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

Support compliance efforts for standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, or other relevant regulations.
Monitoring and Optimization:

Configure cloud monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.

Analyze system performance and optimize resources to ensure cost efficiency and high availability.
Collaboration:

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless cloud integration.

Provide technical guidance and best practices for cloud-native application development.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:

3–5 years of hands-on experience managing cloud environments on AWS and Azure.

Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud security tools and practices.
Skills:

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers).

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications (preferred, not ):

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.

Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.

Familiarity with federal security standards such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or DISA STIGs.

Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., government, healthcare, or finance).
