The EMEA Electrics and Controls department, located at Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, is one of the fastest growing departments withing the EMEA Development Centre of Daikin. This department is responsible for development and improvement of controls: room controls, unit controls, App and cloud controls.
Part of our work involves:
How does your day look like
You know how the test automation platform works and are the first point of contact for the testers
You plan, design and execute changes to the platform in collaboration with all teams (extend capabilities with new hardware, extend capacity etc…)
You monitor and ensure the optimal working of the platform
You are responsible for the capacity planning
You take the lead to coordinate and execute fixes yourself or in collaboration with other teams
You monitor how many tests need to run and ensure this is done as efficiently and optimally as possible with the available resources
You promote the platform so that other teams or departments can also use this platform for testing products/apps/software
The talent you bring
You have a relevant Master’s degree
You feel a strong match with the Daikin Vision and want to work on innovative products to fight climate change
You have experience in at least two of the following domains:
Test methodologies, Test Management Tools, ISTQB, Test Automation, Robot Framework
CI/CD: Jenkins, Gitlab
Experience with multiple platforms: IOS, Android, Windows, Linux and Mac
Embedded software
You are a strong collaborator who is driven to find solutions for technical requirements and are capable of thinking on a conceptual level
You strive for consensus between stakeholders in the project.
