About the role

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Cloud & Infrastructure team in Calgary, Alberta. The SRE will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our development and production environments. This role works closely with development, business, and client-facing teams to support and continuously improve our infrastructure and operational practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support development infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, database administration, and backup systems.
• Install, configure, and deploy development and test environments.
• Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, support, and monitor server architecture within production clusters.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker, Nginx, load balancing, and related technologies.
• Monitor system availability and performance; identify and respond to service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure and server-side issues.
• Collaborate closely with software development teams to support reliable application delivery.
• Work with business teams and clients to address IT, infrastructure, and security-related requests.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Perform other related duties as required.
  

I 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and administration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and server administration.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call support rotations.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
