Join Our Team as a Senior DevOps Engineer

OneMain Financial, the largest lending-exclusive financial company in the United States, is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business, develop a cohesive approach for projects, and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains. You will be responsible for assessing, designing, and securing DevSecOps services and solutions on the cloud while taking ownership and evangelizing best practices for a specific area of focus or tech stack. This position requires progressively more experience and accountability for influencing important technical decisions and supporting their implementation.

  • Programmatically create infrastructure in AWS, leveraging Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM.
  • Enable our data development team to deliver new code daily through Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines.
  • Build data infrastructure related to an end-to-end data factory platform using Terraform and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business.
  • Strong skills in AWS, including Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM.
  • Experience with Git and Continuous Integration/Deployment Pipelines.
  • Ability to build data infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Preferable candidates within 50 miles of OneMain Corporate Offices located in Charlotte NC, Dallas TX, Evansville IN, Baltimore MD.
  • Remote candidates considered.
