Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure Kubernetes clusters for on-premises and multi-cloud environments

  • Implement and maintain security standard methodologies for Kubernetes clusters and containers

  • Collaborate with development and software engineering teams to streamline application deployment and management

  • Monitor and solve Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kubernetes, containerization, and related technologies

  • Demonstrate experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

  • Develop and maintain Helm charts for application deployment and management

  • Architect solutions for container registries, including Docker and Jfrog Artifactory, ensuring efficient management of remote and local repositories

  • Implement and manage GPU infrastructure within Kubernetes clusters to support high-performance computing and AI/ML tasks

  • Design and implement advanced networking solutions within Kubernetes, including network policies, ingress/egress configurations, and service discovery

  • Architect and manage storage solutions for Kubernetes, ensuring data persistence, scalability, and performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related IT field

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments, including on-premises, AWS, and Azure

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters in on-premises environments, including performing upgrades and applying patches

  • Hands-on experience managing Linux systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and containers

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is highly desirable
