About You:

Responsibilities

AWS Expertise

  • Proficient in managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, RDS, Systems Manager, and backup solutions
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and automation using Terraform/Ansible

Cloud Orchestration

  • Expertise in Kubernetes cluster management preferably Amazon EKS
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure Kubernetes-based infrastructure

Internal Development Platform

  • Automate processes to support Dev/QA teams through an Internal Development Platform using Terraform, Python etc.

Continuous Integration and Deployment

  • Implement and manage continuous deployment solutions like ArgoCD and Jenkins for containerized applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Jenkins for building, testing, and deploying applications
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process

Web Servers and Application Servers

  • Proficient in configuring and managing Apache HTTP Server
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and optimization of Tomcat Application Server

Infrastructure as Code

  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage and provision infrastructure

Monitoring and Logging

  • Experience with monitoring systems like DataDog or equivalent
  • Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance

Linux Administration

  • Proficient in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and optimization

Security

  • Implement and advocate for DevSecOps best practices
  • Ensure security compliance and help perform regular security audits

Requirements

  • University Degree/College Diploma in a business, mathematics, computer science or technology related field preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on in DevOps domain
  • Experience in cloud environments and deployment, preferably AWS
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Apache, Tomcat
  • Experience with automation processes and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible and Bash
  • Load balancers, firewalls
  • Monitoring systems using DataDog, CloudWatch etc.
  • Understanding of current web and internet technologies like CDN, DNS
  • Knowledge of Vagrant, Docker and Kubernetes will be helpful
  • Bonus points AWS and Kubernetes certifications.
