Contract: This is a B2B contract for a fixed period of 12 months, with possible extensions.

We are seeking engineers to join Arista Network’s Professional Services (Software Services) team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or people with NetDevOps experience. Join a global team to help our customers achieve their goals and automate and solve real-life IP networking problems. At Arista you will be working on a project with one of the largest North American banks.

Main areas of focus:
 

  • Automation and testing: Using the latest automation techniques and tools
  • Cloud services: Implementing and operating scalable, flexible and cloud agnostic solutions for internal and external customers



Qualifications & Attributes

Essential

  • Python or Golang (e.g. creating tools/projects from scratch, develop in-house tooling to assist with operations activities, or working on large-scale software projects)
  • CI platforms (e.g. Jenkins or Gitlab, etc.)
  • Container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) service orchestration (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
  • Understanding of IP networking
  • Solid Linux
  • Excellent communication skills

 
Desirable

  • Comfortable working in all phases of software development life cycle
  • Familiarity with Cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, and Azure)
  • Experience with complex data center networking, mgmt and orchestration
  • Arista Networks equipment experience
  • Experience with operating services in production environments
  • Experience of working closely with customer operations teams
  • Exposed to NETCONF, OPENCONFIG, GRPC, GNMI, network automation technologies.
