US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,400 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

- Prototype, design, and implement security solutions for new and challenging problemsÂ
- Drive and champion security tool development (e.g. scanning tools)Â
- Consult software development teams in design and architecture of safe and secure systems through Threat Modeling and modeling exercisesÂ
- Champion and consult on secure development lifecycle practicesÂ
- Design and integrate verification and posture reporting mechanismsÂ
- Define security configuration and implementation best practicesÂ
Responsibilities
Qualifications:Â
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science or related fieldÂ
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related field or equivalent experienceÂ
- Experience building automated security solutionsÂ
- Strong security experience, particularly with focus in one of the following areas:Â
- Defensive SecurityÂ
- Offensive SecurityÂ
- Service architecture and Design PatternsÂ
- Strong collaboration and communication skillsÂ
Â
Preferred SkillsÂ
- Experience scaling operational activities via Python, Bash, and other toolsÂ
- DevOps or SRE experience operating large, distributed, continuously deployed servicesÂ
- Experience operating large, distributed, continuously deployed servicesÂ
- Expertise in designing databases schemas in (NoSQL / SQL).Â
- Knowledge on bridging security engineering requirements into the software development life cycle.Â
- Security training and mentoring experienceÂ
- Experience withâŻstatistical/mathematical predictiveâŻmodelingÂ
- Experience with machine learning / artificial intelligenceÂ
- Experience designing resilient systems that support quick recoveryÂ
- Experience with container orchestration and managementÂ
- History of collaborating and integrating processes with software development teams, data scientists, business and other technical rolesÂ
- Experience with Java or Python developmentÂ
