Responsibilities:
Platform Development & Administration
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows across ITSM, HRSD, IRM, and SPM.
- Perform hands-on development using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
- Administer core platform capabilities including users, roles, groups, ACLs, forms, workflows, and data models.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, cloning activities, and regression testing.
Platform Architecture & Design (Emerging Architect Responsibilities)
- Contribute to the design and evolution of the ServiceNow platform architecture in alignment with business needs and best practices.
- Assist in defining platform standards, reusable components, and technical patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in CMDB and CSDM alignment efforts to support accurate service modeling and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutionsβnot just short-term fixes.
Integration & Automation
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Design and implement automated workflows to reduce manual effort and improve self-service capabilities.
- Support enterprise initiatives focused on digital workflows, service catalog expansion, and cross-department automation.
Governance, Documentation & Enablement
- Ensure configurations and customizations adhere to platform governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, workflows, and configuration standards.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers, administrators, and platform contributors.
- Collaborate with platform owners, developers, architects, and business partners to ensure alignment with the ServiceNow roadmap.

- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, and reporting/dashboarding.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow data models, table relationships, and platform architecture concepts.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow upgrade processes, instance management, and SDLC practices.
- Foundational understanding of ITIL concepts and enterprise service management.
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- 3β5 years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience supporting multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, IRM, or SPM.
- Demonstrated experience progressing beyond basic development into solution design and platform decision-making.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Risk Management Frameworks, and Project/Portfolio Management concepts.
- Heavy organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to perform objective analysis and re-engineering of business processes.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
ServiceNow Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) β any module

Pay Range:

This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
