Who we are looking for

The team develops sophisticated electronic trading systems handling hundreds of billions of dollars in AUM. The products are built on Java, Node.js and Oracle on the server side and modern web technologies on the front end.  The product suite is expanding both vertically with new features and horizontally into other business areas and new asset classes. We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps engineer with strong security domain knowledge and experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will help to manage and automate our AWS cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, improve deployment processes, enhance product security, observability, resilience and scalability. You will oversee the continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring smooth and secure application deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our infrastructure team to maintain and enhance our Kubernetes based CI/CD pipelines using GitOps model. Ensure automation in the deployment process and minimize manual intervention.

  • Maintain and improve our security (WSO2 + NGINX) platform especially user authentication and SSO federation.

  • Work with others to design and implement measures to improve product observability using our Grafana platform.

  • Collaborate with others in the development team to streamline coding, testing, and deployment procedures. Ensure alignment between development and operations for seamless product delivery.

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Work with others to architect and design new business features.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role

  • Great knowledge and 3-5 years of experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes, especially EKS.

  • Great knowledge and experience with AWS.

  • Good knowledge and experience with SSO including both SAML and OpenID Connect. Knowledge and experience with WSO2 is highly desirable.

  • Good knowledge of Java especially JVM tuning.

  • Knowledge and experience with NGINX is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge and experience with Prometheus and Grafana is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills and work ethics.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
