As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the infrastructure that powers an enterprise-level data platform. You will lead initiatives to enhance automation, scalability, observability, and cost-effectiveness while mentoring engineers to adopt product-minded practices. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement infrastructure tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation that directly impact the reliability and performance of software services. Working collaboratively with engineering and product teams, you will influence technical strategy, streamline deployment processes, and ensure that platform operations support the company’s long-term vision. This is a high-impact role in a collaborative, innovative, and flexible environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and tooling to improve platform automation, scalability, and observability.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and scripting for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to analyze requirements, estimate work, and implement effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on best practices, automation, and platform operations.
  • Lead efforts to optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance, leveraging AWS multi-account deployments and cloud-native solutions.
  • Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices, monitoring, and observability across teams.


Requirements
  • Mastery of AWS multi-account deployments with multi-region infrastructure, including both legacy and cloud-native systems.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, CloudWatch, and associated infrastructure tooling.
  • Experience with log aggregation tools (e.g., OpenSearch), container pipelines (e.g., Packer), configuration management (e.g., Ansible), and build pipelines (e.g., Harness, GitHub Actions).
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to set expectations and provide clear feedback.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms beyond AWS, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a plus.
  • Remote work flexibility with up to 5% travel for team meetings.
