Your tasks:
Our mission as European Energy Exchange is building secure and sustainable markets. Special focus is on our Software Development teams to drive the latest technology and to implement agile working methods. In your role of a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) you will be part of this journey. Taking over an essential role within the software development / engineering team, you will be working with different internal and external stakeholders to build and improve our development tools and infrastructure. You are implementing development and release processes in line with security requirements to avoid cyber security threats as well as helping the different development teams to fully utilize our target platforms (Openshift, Public Cloud (GCP), Linux, etc.). You are involved in setting up the roadmap for our public cloud migration and technology utilization. In doing so, you will actively develop the IT DevOps chain and of course, receive a great deal in return for your outstanding performance from your team.

Your skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Practical knowledge in developing engineering applications for a large corporation welcome
- Experience with Git and Git workflows, Openshift, K8s(GKE), Public Cloud (preferably GCP) and Linux
- Good knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Docker, ….)
- Experience in developing with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python)
- Knowledge in using ElasticSearch, Prometheus and oberservability in general
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
- Able to provide guidance for colleagues and management
- Excellent written and spoken English AND German skills
