Your role
In this role, you’ll join our Cloud Operations team as Senior DevOps Engineer. You will collaborate with software engineers to setup, debug and operate our AWS Cloud platform. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our processes as much as possible, while building and maintaining tools for continuous deployment, observability, and infrastructure management. Your main tasks will be:
- Design, implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and release processes, enhancing continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Monitor and enhance system observability by implementing and managing the tools to ensure high availability and performance
- Participate in on-call duty rotation to provide 24/7 support, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure rapid resolution of issues affecting production systems
- Drive innovation through impactful internal projects and optimizations, by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and adhering to industry best practices
Your profile
- Proven experience (5+ years) with AWS, including hands-on work with EKS and Terraform for infrastructure as code
- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent
- Experience with version control systems like Git, and collaboration tools like GitHub
- Familiarity with best practices in security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments
Optional, but highly appreciated:
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB Atlas
- Experience with Akamai setup and management
- Previous exposure to managed services, including AWS serverless workloads and Confluent Kafka
- Strong Linux administration skills, encompassing shell scripting and system troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPN configurations in cloud environments
