Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer, GCP

Your tasks

Are you familiar with cloud-native technologies and experienced in deploying modern software using GitOps principles? Are you keen not only to automate infrastructure but also to develop your own tools and operators in Go?

Then become our new Cloud Engineer  (all genders)! The position is available immediately and remotely from anywhere in Germany.

Your profile

• You know how to build a Docker image and develop a Kubernetes deployment from it.
• You define infrastructure as code – instead of clicking it together in a UI. Tools like Terraform or Helm are familiar to you.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Go or can quickly learn the language to develop, for example, Kubernetes operators, your own CLIs or infrastructure tools.
• You have solid shell scripting skills (Bash).
• You are familiar with the software development lifecycle and can set up, operate, and extend common CI/CD processes.
• You have experience with GCP and can manage it with Terraform.
• You can set up Kubernetes clusters and manage them with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• You have experience in debugging network problems in distributed systems.
• You are communicative, a team player, and enjoy working closely with clients and teams.
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (B2).
