Job Title: Sr. Data Platform Engineer
Job Duties: Participate in a team environment for the delivery and maintenance of data management systems. Program, debug, and test applications and data extract, transformation, and load processes in a development environment. Perform database design, system testing, and document results. Develop efficient and maintainable program code. Develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving complex business problems. Provide consulting support for IT and Business partners by researching, identifying and resolving complex technical programming problems. Understand and participate in deliverables required by approved Development Lifecycles. Determine program design and prepare work estimates for development or changes for assigned work. Develop complex programs and procedures to structure data in support of business processes and objectives and prepare and/or direct the creation of system test plans, test criteria, and test data. Prepare and/or direct the creation of program, system, operational and User documentation. Telecommuting allowed from anywhere within ID, WA, OR, or UT. May be required to work outside normal hours and/or provide on-call service.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or the foreign degree equivalent and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience working in a multi-platform environment, including database development. This must also include at least 5 years of experience in each of the following:

The current salary range for this role is $158,309 to $168,000 per year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location.
