Job Overview:
Location: Harrisburg, PA ((Hybrid, 1st day onsite onboarding, and 60% Remote, 40% Onsite)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Public Safety Delivery Center (PSDC) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to work on cloud-native solutions within a multi-cloud environment (primarily Microsoft Azure & AWS). The position involves designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based applications and API development, focusing on scalable and reliable cloud solutions. The role is hybrid, requiring some onsite presence for onboarding and project collaboration.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, and support Cloud-Native applications and API development using .NET, .NET Core, and Containers.

·         Implement and manage scalable, secure AWS and Azure-based solutions (EC2, S3, App Service, Azure Functions, etc.).

·         Utilize containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Azure AKS).

·         Support migration and development projects within Azure and AWS environments.

·         Develop integration solutions, including REST APIs and event-driven/queue-based integrations.

·         Collaborate with the team on the deployment, configuration, and scaling of applications on Azure PaaS.

·         Implement CI/CD pipelines and work across the full SDLC, including applications development, support, and deployment.

Requirements:

·         Proven experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, and Web API development.

·         Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform and AWS Cloud Platform (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).

·         Experience in implementing containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.

·         Strong understanding of cloud computing, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, load balancing, and storage.

·         Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).

·         Must be willing to relocate to Harrisburg, PA, and report onsite as required (including onboarding).

·         Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred:

·         Certifications in Azure (MCSE, MCSA) or AWS Cloud Solutions.

·         Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks is a plus.

·         This role requires successful completion of a background check and clearance.

·         Candidates must be available to work onsite in Harrisburg for onboarding and as required.
