Your Role
As an Azure Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, management, and optimization of Azure cloud infrastructures for our clients. You will work closely with the architecture team to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in deploying and automating cloud solutions, as well as a deep understanding of Azure services, governance, and best practices. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of cloud solutions while providing mentorship to engineers and contributing to ongoing architectural discussions.
You will:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and other senior technical staff to design high-level architectures for cloud solutions.
- Take responsibility for specific areas of architecture design, such as infrastructure automation, network topology, and security architectures.
- Contribute to the development of architecture blueprints for cloud environments and ensure alignment with Azure best practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using tools like Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Perform performance tuning, cost optimization, and ongoing management of Azure resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor security best practices across Azure environments, including network security, identity management, and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices for cloud infrastructure management and automation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal profile to thrive in the role has
- 5+ years of experience in managing and deploying Azure cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
- Strong expertise in Azure services: Networking services, Storage services, Azure Entra ID, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud governance, security frameworks, and cost management in Azure environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux-based environments within Azure.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in French and English

Technical Knowledge
Mandatory:
- Experience in Azure hybrid cloud environments and integrating with on-premises systems.
- Strong understanding of networking principles in Azure environments with experience designing and implementing secure network architectures using Azure networking components.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices for continuous integration and delivery.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure OpenAI or Generative AI technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400).
