We are looking for a Product Owner who will take end-to-end ownership of our cybersecurity platform backlog and enable a senior, self-organized full-stack engineering team to deliver outcomes efficiently. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, stakeholder needs, and technical execution—ensuring that platform features across e-learning, phishing simulation, security assessments, user management, and data/BI are coherent, measurable, and aligned with our mission: making cyber risks manageable for insurance partners and their SMB customers.
Core product ownership Â
Own the platform-level backlog and ensure alignment across modules and shared services. Â
Define roadmap themes and outcome goals together with the CTO and internal stakeholders. Â
Drive consistency across the user experience, platform navigation, roles & permissions, and reporting patterns. Â
Discovery & requirements engineering Â
Translate ideas and stakeholder needs into clear problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Â
Work with UI/UX to prototype, validate flows, and continuously improve usability. Â
Ensure non-functional requirements (security, privacy, performance, reliability, observability) are explicit and prioritized. Â
Delivery enablement & stakeholder management Â
Prioritize work based on value, impact, risk, dependencies, and delivery constraints—making trade-offs transparent. Â
Keep engineers unblocked by clarifying decisions, resolving scope questions, and managing dependencies. Â
Facilitate effective refinement and planning practices that fit a self-organized senior team. Â
Communicate roadmap, progress, and learnings clearly to heads of departments and relevant stakeholders. Â
Metrics & continuous improvement Â
Define success metrics and evaluate whether features deliver measurable value after release. Â
Build feedback loops using customer insights, stakeholder input, and data from the platform. Â
Improve product operations and delivery workflows to reduce friction, rework, and time-to-value. Â
Strong technical product ownership skills and experience working closely with engineering teams in software delivery. Â
Ability to discuss solutions at eye level with engineers, understand architectural trade-offs, and translate them into product decisions. Â
Proven experience creating clarity in complex environments with multiple components and stakeholders. Â
A structured, independent, and outcome-driven working style with a strong sense of ownership. Â
Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus. Â
Experience with B2B platforms (RBAC, multi-tenancy, integrations, analytics/reporting) is a plus. Â
Experience with partner-driven (B2B2B) business models is a plus. Â
Introducing a platform-wide product operating rhythm (intake, discovery, refinement, metrics review) that improves delivery efficiency. Â
Reducing engineer downtime and context switching by improving prioritization, dependency handling, and decision-making speed. Â
Driving a unified platform experience across modules while enabling independent, scalable development. Â
Partnering with stakeholders to connect feature delivery to measurable partner and SMB outcomes (risk reduction, activation, adoption). Â
Strengthening telemetry and KPI tracking across the platform to make product decisions more data-informed. Â
You like taking ownership of complex platforms and bringing structure without slowing teams down. Â
You combine technical depth with pragmatic prioritization and stakeholder alignment. Â
You care about outcomes and learning loops, not feature factories. Â
You enjoy collaborating with senior engineers and enabling them to do their best work. Â
You want to help reduce cyber risk for thousands of SMBs through a product with purpose. Â
A transparent, open company culture with direct communication and real impact. Â
A diverse and committed team built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose. Â
A centrally located office in Berlin-Kreuzberg plus flexible working hours and remote options. Â
Regular professional development and personal growth opportunities. Â
Strong employee benefits such as EdenRed, mobility budget, team events, and more. Â
